Dreams, over time, dissipate into unresolved enigmas. The speaker’s memories and attitude towards becoming successful and ultimately striving “The Millennial’s Dream” of financial independence in a changing world become neglected. She goes about remembering former fragments of hope, which now are shattered and disdained over time.
