Our society succumbs to the pressure death’s presence causes, perpetuating us to live our life in such a way so as to avoid stepping on death’s toes, trying to avoid it at the ironic cost of our own lives. Avoidance of death results in a type of constraint on the way in which we can live our lives, thereby foregoing a sense of happiness that can only come when we accept the ubiquitous duality of life and death, since there is not one without the other.
