Creating this picture felt like an exercise in entropy. In drawing something abstract, the drawing loses much of the structure and order that can guide the creation process. This piece fits into the category of space and place because of how it explores the space in a 2-D setting, mimicking depth and form.

Katey Phillips is a Theatre Technology major, with a minor in English. She hopes to make costume crafts and design for the theatre. This career path developed after an interest in sewing and many hours painting, drawing, and sculpting.
