This piece depicts how humans, naturally restricted to the ground, have overcome that limitation through aviation and have opened up the possibility of a whole new space. It shows our fascination with flight and the opportunities that it has opened.

Katey Phillips is a Theatre Technology major, with a minor in English. She hopes to make costume crafts and design for the theatre. This career path developed after an interest in sewing and many hours of painting, drawing, and sculpting. A life goal of hers is be to become a milliner.
