Major: Creative Writing

Ashley is a senior Creative Writing major and Dance minor who loves to read, write, and dance. She works at Linden Tree Children’s Books in Los Altos, California, and has been doing ballet since she was three years old. She also has a particular affinity for fantasy novels, and is extremely proud to be a member of the Hufflepuff house from Harry Potter. She can often be found dancing around campus or curled up in odd places reading (or re-reading) her favorite books.

Mitchell Sturhann (2019), Editor
Major: Screenwriting

Mitchell is a senior Screenwriting major who loves to read, write, or watch anything from either the screen or written page. He is showrunner for a  web series and is one of the founding members and writers of Chapman Sketch Comedy. He plays trumpet with the Chapman Wind Ensemble and Big Band and is an avid listener of movie soundtracks. He has a penchant for old Toho Godzilla movies and has been positively identified as a Slytherin.

Avery Cardosi (2020), Editor
Major: Creative Writing

Avery is a junior Creative Writing major and Italian Studies minor who has been telling stories for as long as she can remember, with no intention of stopping. That being said, she loves writing boldly, dancing poorly, making lists, and just about anything with commas. She is a member of the Chapman Cross Country team, and the Hufflepuff house. Her patronus is a basset hound, and her favorite moments occur when there is at least one dog present.

Grace is a junior Creative Writing major with a minor in Psychology. As an aspiring author, she loves to read novels, poetry, plays and creative nonfiction — and she knows most of Edna St. Vincent Millay’s poem Renascence by heart. She’s also passionate about theater, dance, and coffee. In her adulthood, she wants to travel the world and write.

Major: Creative Writing

Maithu is a junior Creative Writing major who lives and loves to write. Whether it be a nasty piece on the unfairness of restricted TV time when she was in 2nd grade, or an opinion piece about diversity in her high school newspaper, she can run away with anything and turn it into a story. She’s in love with anything that involves babies or dogs, and can almost always be counted on to take at least 50 pictures at any given event.
