Creator Commentary:

I believe that your identity is determined by your relationship with the things, people, and places around you. To know yourself, in part, is to know how you fit within the world. In this painting, I wanted to capture the multifaceted nature of one’s identity. The being in the picture is nobody in particular, but can be anyone. We are products of the world around us. A combination of attributes that we choose. Any combination. As many colors and textures as we want.
